If we have always favored traditional cultivation and sustainable agriculture, this year we are embarking on a process of switching to organic farming.
Thus, the treatments are only based on sulfur and Bordeaux mixture to prevent the onset of vine diseases such as powdery mildew and mildew.
The vines are planted almost in squares: 1.30m spacing between the feet and 1.50m between the rows which remain grassed one row out the two. Tillage is done on the surface only under the row by mechanical scratches.
Manual double Guyot pruning and leaf stripping ensure better spread of the harvest and excellent ventilation for lower yield but maximum quality.
The vinification in stainless steel or cement vats is done by integrating modern methods, such as thermoregulation in order to control fermentations, while the 18-month aging takes place in cement vats or barrels.
Bottling is done exclusively at the Château
